The sole focus of The Brown Trading Co is to create gorgeous, sophisticated home collections.

Brother and sister duo Gavin and Keren Brown are committed to providing excellence at every level, from design and production through to relationship building and customer service.  Their exuberant and stylish approach to life is evident in every aspect of the business with the motto 'it must be fun' at the core of everything they do.

The Brown Trading Co's products have been featured in Vogue Living, House & Garden, Australian Women's Weekly, Sydney Morning Herald, Home Beautiful, Real Living, Marie Claire and Adore Magazine. Our collections are stocked in hundreds of beautiful stores across Australia.

As a socially responsible company, we collaborate with traditional artisans in remote Indian villages to develop and manufacture our collections and are proud to promote these exquisite art forms enabling those communities to thrive and prosper. 

Many of our products are handmade and the process can be lengthy with delays due to weather and celebrations a regular occurrence.  However we believe this makes our products even more special and worthwhile.

In his spare time, Gavin is passionate about conservation and the environment and is the President of AFTCRA the Australian Freshwater Turtle Conservation and Research Association.  His perfectly behaved two giant dogs Odie and Zeus are permanent fixtures at the office.  Gavin has been known to disappear from work to visit creeks and dams to perform turtle rescues!

Keren spends her time scouring bookstores, drooling over design, cooking and playing with Humphrey the Golden Retriever, who is far too naughty to be allowed in the office.  She has been known to disappear from work to attend 'important' lunch or coffee meetings with friends!

Like two opposite pieces of the puzzle they just fit together.
